Mission/Purpose:  The Bulldog News Network produces the morning announcements and digital content to share with the school and community.

Description of Planned Activities:  Students will develop leadership and teamwork skills through a number of on-camera and behind-the-scenes positions including anchor/feature, camera/lights, sound, teleprompter, studio director, video director, and switchboard operator. Students are selected during the spring of the year prior to the club start date. For example, students for the 2026-27 club were selected in the spring of 2026.

Mission/Purpose:  We have two FIRST LEGO League Challenge Teams, NGMS Bulldogs and NGMS Champs, and the Club is for the two teams to work on their Innovation Project for the current FLL Season.

Description of Planned Activities:  For the Innovation Project, students will need to design, build, and code a LEGO robot (using Spike Prime) to complete the season challenges on a game table. The students will ALSO need to Identify a problem based on the season's theme, and come up with a solution that they will present to the judges at the competition. This involves researching, contacting experts, building a model of their solution, and creating a detailed presentation that they will present as a whole group. They will also need to document their process of designing and coding their robot, and demonstrate teamwork and gracious professionalism throughout the season.

Mission/Purpose:  The MATHCOUNTS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that reaches students in grades 6-8 in all US states and territories with 2 extracurricular math programs. Hundreds of thousands of students participate in our programs or use our resources each year.

Description of Planned Activities:  It's a national enrichment program and competition series focused on building problem-solving skills and positive attitudes towards math for middle school students. It offers a variety of programs, including the MATHCOUNTS Competition Series, the National Math Club, and the Math Video Challenge (formerly). The Competition Series provides a platform for students to compete in live, in-person math contests.

Mission/Purpose:  It is our mission to inspire North Gwinnett Students in grades 6-12 cluster youth to get outside and ride a mountain bike through inclusive programs that champion the interests of everyone who rides or wants to ride a bicycle in our state. Students will build life skills, rooted in the Georgia Cycling Association’s core values, that will help them on and off the trail. 

Description of Planned Activities:  Students learn cross-country mountain bike skills from volunteer coaches. There are 4 main events for the Georgia Cycling Association, plus the State Championships. Helmets and mountain bikes are required (bike assistance available if needed).

Mission/Purpose:  Readers Rally is a club for students who love to read and want to compete with their knowledge about specific books.

Description of Planned Activities:  Readers Rally members will meet each week to read a set list of 10 books. Students will also write comprehension questions about the books and participate in practice buzzer rounds in anticipation of the county-wide competition. Any student may join the club; however, the competition team will be decided by December each year. Ten members of the club will move on to the county-wide competition in February.
