Registration

Parents of international students must call the International Newcomer Center for an appointment at 678-985-5200.  This should be done prior to enrolling at Gwinnett County Public Schools.

Visit the GCPS Registration Site to begin the on-line registration process.

If you are coming from another Gwinnett County Public School, please notify the original school and obtain a withdrawal form and complete the online registration transfer process by taking the following steps:

• Visit www.gcpsk12.org and select New Student Enrollment or Click Here
• Select I Already Have a ParentVue Account and log into your ParentVue account
• Select Online Registration
• Select GCPS Transfer (Current Student Registration)
• From here you will follow the prompts to change information as needed and upload the required supporting documents. Please include the Withdrawal Form in your document upload. You will not be allowed to submit the registration if the required documents are not uploaded. You may save the registration and come back to it later when documents are available for upload. Once you click submit, the registration will be forwarded to the appropriately zoned school based on the address entered.
• Once your registration is received, Mrs. Dhinsa will reach out to discuss completing the enrollment process.

Students who have previously attended a GCPS school at any point in their academic career already have a student ID number and are considered re-enrolling students.  Parents of these students should already have a ParentVue account (previously known as Parent Portal account) and should access their account to begin the on-line registration.  If you need assistance in accessing your ParentVUE account, please contact the school.

By state law, a valid certificate of immunization (Form #3231) or a notarized statement of religious exemption (Form #2208) is required for enrollment. The certificate of immunization must be completed by the health department or your private physician. A valid Form #3231 must be marked with either "Date of Expiration" or as "Complete for School Attendance." (A certificate marked with a "Date of Expiration" expires on the date indicated. A current certificate must be submitted within 30 days of expiration.) A medical exemption, if applicable, should be noted on Form #3231 with a current date of expiration. You may request a form from your school for religious exemption.

Please review immunization requirements for students entering 7th grade and a TDAP-Meningitis parent fact sheet. The new vaccine requirements apply to students who are born on or after 1/1/2002 AND entering 7th grade. The requirements also apply to students who are new entrants to 8th-12th grade. New entrants are students who have never attended any school in Georgia or have not attended any school in Georgia for at least one full school year.

Students also must have evidence of vision, hearing, and dental, and nutrition screening obtained in the past year.This information should be on Georgia Form #3300 (rev. 2013), available from the health department or your physician and dentist and dated within the last 12 months. Letters from appropriate healthcare professionals and out-of-state certificates are acceptable, if completed within the last 12 months and stapled to the state form. 

Visit one of the health department offices in Gwinnett County-- located in Buford, Lawrenceville, and Norcross-- to obtain required screenings and immunizations for a fee.

All students entering 6th grade are required to meet the following:

​Have two (2) doses of Measles vaccine, two (2) doses of Mumps vaccine, and one (1) dose of Rubella vaccine or laboratory proof of immunity against Measles, Mumps or Rubella.2. Have two (2) doses of Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine or documentation or laboratory proof of immunity.​

All students entering 7th grade are required to meet the following:

Have one (1) dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis)2. Have one (1) dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine.​Contact your health care provider or local health center to receive any needed vaccinations and to obtain a signed Georgia Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231) with "Complete for School Attendance" marked.
