After the information session, the application for the program for students who meet the eligibility requirements will open and remain open until January 16th.

Eligibility Requirements:

Required
- Resident of North Gwinnett cluster or has approved Permissive Transfer from North Gwinnett High School

Recommended for Accelerated Geometry or higher in 9th grade.

Recommended for Honors/Gifted 9th LA

Students should score at the Proficient or Distinguished levels on 7th (& 8th) grade EOG assessments in Math, Language Arts, & Social Studies.
- Must complete and submit the online interest form by the deadline

- Students will be expected to spend out-of-class time during lunches or before or after school to complete class or independent projects.

Students will be expected to collaborate with peers on group projects. We recommend students come ready to participate fully in group work.

- A lottery for the program will take place on January 23rd. Eligible families will find out if their student received a spot in the program or their number on the waitlist at this time
- As you consider this program, please keep in mind that students will complete a minimum of 7 AP classes within the CHARGEnorth program. Students may take additional AP classes outside of CHARGEnorth depending on their math placement and other areas of interest.
The application will open 7:00 AM, Wednesday, November 19, and close 11:59 PM EST, Friday, January 16, 2026. The application can be completed in one of the following languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese. The parent/legal guardian will receive an email confirmation upon completing the application.
